Due to overwhelming demand, we’re breaking out the Mollydooker wines for a big tasting this weekend from 11-8pm, and for only the 3rd time ever, we are including their flagship wine – Velvet Glove.
As we have told you many times before, Mollydooker wines have been one of the biggest breakout stars from Australia in the last 10 years, and there appears to be no end in sight to their popularity. Their run, since their founding in 2005, has been pretty epic. Top 10 in Wine Spectator “Wines of the Year” three times in 14 years and in the top 100 eight times.
They offer something for all types. 100% Shiraz? Check. Sparkling Shiraz? Why not. Delicious Cabernet? You know it. Bodacious blends? But of course.
Those of you, though, that are into wines that are “lighter” in style need not apply. These wines are the biggest of the big, the lightest of them looking almost as dark as motor oil in the glass 🙂 We may even break out the Mollydooker Shake…
